Sunday School

The Sunday School takes place from 8.45am to 9.45am every Sunday except during the school holidays.

The aim is to teach children the Bible so they are aware of the main message of the Bible and the basic truths that Christians believe. It is the desire of all members of the church that children should be presented with the facts and by the work of the Holy Spirit respond eventually in repentance and faith to the claims of Jesus Christ and thereby be brought into a living relationship with God. We do not indoctrinate or pressurise children seeking instead to expose them to God’s word and allow Him to work as He purposes.

Children are welcome from church families and those who do not attend the church. There are up to 3 age-group classes catering for a total age-range from 6 years to 16 years. Children in church families are encouraged to stay on for the morning service, and other children are welcome to stay on if they wish.

The classes are led by trained Christian believers, using well-produced up to date materials, mainly from GoTeach (http://www.goteach.org.uk)

The children are encouraged to attend camps once or twice a year.
